I want a flat screen moniter I can use as a TV and computer screen & cheap if possible. What r they called.?

Whats the difference between LCD and CRT?

For most end consumers (including the type of use you are describing), there is no difference. I recommend Samsung LCD’s. There are middle of the price range and are high quality monitors. In order to use it for your computer and TV you are going to need a graphics card with a coax cable input (TV jack) and a program to read that input (Windows XP: Media Center).
