How Computer Technology Has Changed Our Lives
Computer technology is the term which refers to the use of computer devices in accomplishing a certain task. Computer technology really has evolved from the day it was invented. Today, there are now a lot of applications that we can do with the help of this type of technology – from communication, banking, transportation, shopping, and even doing our house chores; computer technology has revolutionized the way we do things making our lives more comfortable and more convenient to live in.
Before, if we like to purchase something we have no choice but to go to the nearest supermarket or grocery store even if it is far but today with the help of computer technology specifically the internet, we are now able to purchase a lot of stuff over the internet. In other words, all we need is a computer that is connected to the internet and mode of payment to purchase something off the web.
Banking is somehow connected to the way we shop for things since with the help of technology; we are now able to manage our financial accounts without having to visit the bank. Yes, this is possible since all you need is a computer and internet connection to manage your bank account and do all the things that you want – except of course to withdraw money (but you can transfer funds from your bank account to your ATM account and withdraw the money in any ATM near you).
Communication is actually among the most important contributions of technology that has changed the way we live our lives. Communicating to our loved ones especially those who are in other countries is expensive since you need to purchase a call card and then dial the number before you are able to talk with your loved ones for few minutes. But today, with the help of the internet, you can now talk to your loved ones whenever and wherever they are unlimited.
