Custom Gaming Laptop

I need to get a decent Gaming laptop for 600-800$ that can run WOW smoothly?

I am planning on getting a laptop on black friday this year so that I can play wow, What model’s or brand’s should I look out for when black friday comes? or should I try and order a custom one online?

The best indication of a gaming laptop is the video card in the system.

512MB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 4530 or
1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 4650

Video cards for laptops for gaming (options in a HP DV6Z system). Typically the first number (4) indicates generation family (larger = newer), second number indicates performance segment (2 or 3 = slowest, 5 or 6 = entry level, 7 = mid level, 8 = high end, and third number indicates model within performance segment higher number = faster).

Above were around mid level graphics cards for laptops, the 4650 being what I would consider average laptop GPU, but probably enough for WoW. An ATI 47xx would be better, if available. Nvidia also makes GPUs and you would want something like a 9600M-9700M-9800M.

DO NOT get an Intel Atom CPU, they are NOT for gaming.
