Can I install an Intel i3 or i5 in my Asus Laptop?
I own a Asus G72GX with a Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor, and a Intel P43 Chipset. I’ve been searching for hours now tring to get a straight answer but I can’t so I was wondering would I be able to install the i3 or i5.
nope, you maybe able to put a quad core (socket 775) but not an i3/i5 (socket 1156) they physically will not fit the socket.
