Charging light on my laptop is flashing blue and orange but not charging?
I have a dell inspiron 1525 and i have recently noticed that my laptop was not charging so i thought i broke the charger so i brought a new one which has all of the same specifications as the old one, i have plugged it and still not charging, but i noticed a flashing blue and orange light on the charging light space, and i don’t know what to do, can someone help me.
If you purchased the charger through a site like ebay or amazon, its not as realiable because you don’t know where it came from. Not to mention its past usage or if its even certified.
If you got it online like that, return it. The longer you don’t, the less time you have to do so and you just lose money.
As for your problem, what issues are you having other than the light flashing? Have you tried using another outlet? Is the new charger a Dell? Have you physically damaged your laptop since the time you first owned it?
If you answered yes to one of the above, I would recommend you get a new charger from a more reliable source. I would personally suggest you visit Topmic. If you are confident the charger is not the issue, you should take it into a computer repair store. This could also be a battery issue if the laptop isn’t turning on with the charger plugged in but more than likely a charger issue. You may have also damaged your motherboard but only a computer repair store can determine that.
