how would you explain the technological advances in the past 100 + to someone from the1800’s?

how would you explain cars, computers, television’s, various electronic devices, certain musical styles (i.e. death metal etc etc.) ?

Oh, yeah, well, it’s kinda like what you know, only it’s faster, more complicated, and more crowded. Get this: we have over 6 and a half billion people now! And most of them are fat!

People do not have to die just because they get sick.

Not only can we fly, but we’ve sent people to the Moon. And we don’t have to wait until they get back – we can talk to them while they’re there, just like they’re here.

And don’t get me started on computers.
